Hotel Villa Ombrosa faces Le Ghiaie beach and looks out over the gulf’s limpid waters; while only a stone’s throw from Portoferraio town centre, it is surprisingly far from the “madding crowds”.

The hotel has recently been restructured with a very particular and elegant style of architecture; just as wind and salt have skilfully moulded the nearby rocks, here too every detail has been tastefully designed: the furnishings in the rooms, the well-tended gardens – all of which are aimed at creating a very exclusive atmosphere.
